Description AMS ALP.07.06.0001-1 Splash Shield for NISSAN GT-R (R35)
Some Nissan GT-R models experience moisture or standing water in the passenger side foot well. This issue is caused by water leaking into the cabin through a main engine wiring harness grommet located under the cowl vent on the passenger-side windshield. Exposure to heavy rain or car washes can allow water to drip onto the grommet, leading to potential corrosion and mold inside the vehicle.
This situation may result in failure of the main engine wiring harness or ECU, which can be both costly and dangerous. The Alpha Nissan GT-R Cowl Splash Shield is designed to divert water away from the firewall grommet and main engine wiring harness, helping to prevent these issues. The shield installs using factory mounting points and remains hidden beneath the factory cowling.
Note: Not compatible with RHD models.
