The AMS Performance 4.1L VR38 Stage 4 Long Block is designed for high horsepower Nissan GTR builds. This fully assembled long block is crafted with precision machining using advanced in-house equipment and is ready for installation. Each AMS built engine is strategically strengthened to support the power and torque produced by OMEGA and ALPHA performance packages, and assembled in a state-of-the-art, temperature and humidity controlled clean room.
AMS applies decades of race-winning experience to the Nissan VR38, engineering a strong and advanced engine program. The 4.1L Stage 4 Long Block comes complete from valve covers to oil pan to timing chain and components, making installation straightforward. Only high-quality off-the-shelf and custom-designed AMS spec components are used, meeting exacting standards.
All AMS built engines are handcrafted and balanced, blueprinted, and assembled to precise specifications. Each block is checked for correct dimensions, cylinder bore, main alignment, and block flatness before assembly. Every engine has an archived spec sheet documenting tolerances, torque specs, and clearances as part of the standard quality control process.
Product Notes: Horsepower and torque numbers, and RPM limits are approximate and can vary significantly depending on numerous factors such as turbocharger selection, intake and exhaust restriction/backpressure, and fuel octane and quality, among others. The advertised numbers are based on optimal conditions and proper supporting modifications, but results may vary. In rare cases, component selection may vary from advertised based on supply chain delays. All substitutions will be communicated in advance during the engine assembly process. Assumes a good condition core long block is sent in to build from. All long blocks should be shipped fully assembled from valve covers to oil pan, including timing covers and crank pulley. Components not in reusable condition will have replacements quoted during the assembly process.
