The AMS Performance 3.8L VR38 Stage 1 Long Block is designed for high horsepower builds in the Nissan GTR. This fully assembled long block is crafted with precision machining using advanced in-house equipment, ensuring effortless installation. Each AMS built engine is strategically strengthened to support the power and torque produced by OMEGA and ALPHA performance packages.

Assembled in a state-of-the-art, temperature and humidity controlled clean room, every detail is meticulously crafted. Decades of race-winning experience have been applied to the Nissan VR38, resulting in a strong and advanced engine program for the GTR.

AMS proprietary engine components and proven assembly processes deliver a reliable power plant. The long block assembly includes components from valve covers to oil pan to timing chain, making installation straightforward. Only high-quality off-the-shelf and custom designed AMS spec components are used.

To avoid confusion and the possibility of missing parts, all long blocks should be shipped fully assembled from valve covers to oil pan, including timing covers and crank pulley. Components that are not in reusable condition will have replacements quoted during the engine assembly process.
