Description AMS 44.309.170WK Wavetrac Limited Slip Rear Differential R190 for INFINITI Q50 / Q60

The Wavetrac R190 LSD offers quicker acceleration and improved cornering for Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models. Its ability to bias under zero to low load situations sets it apart from other differentials on the market. Wavetrac differentials are manufactured in American facilities that meet or exceed OEM standards and operate to ISO9002 and TS16949 requirements.

Unlike standard gear differentials, the Wavetrac LSD solves the problem of loss of drive during zero or near-zero axle-load conditions. This issue commonly occurs when one drive wheel is nearly or completely lifted during aggressive cornering, or during transitions between acceleration and deceleration. While typical gear LSDs cannot provide power to the wheel with grip under these conditions, Wavetrac's patented design ensures drive is maintained.

Note: This product requires professional installation by a qualified driveline technician using calibrated specialty service tools to properly shim the differential carrier and gears to achieve appropriate gear lash and mesh. Failure to do so may result in unwanted or excessive noise or whine, or damage to the carrier, housing, gears, etc.
