The Akrapovic Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system for the Porsche 911 Turbo (992) incorporates extensive engineering knowledge gained from working with high-performance engines from the Stuttgart manufacturer. Constructed entirely from lightweight titanium, the system includes complex components produced in Akrapovic’s in-house titanium foundry to ensure precise construction and optimized acoustic characteristics.

The exhaust delivers an immediate deep tone from engine start. At low rpm the system produces a characteristic flat-six rumble, transitioning through a powerful mid-range and developing into a rich, high-frequency sound at high engine speeds. The acoustic profile is carefully tuned to enhance upshifts and downshifts, producing pronounced racing-style burbles during deceleration.

This sound signature is achieved through a precisely positioned H-link connecting the main pipes, ensuring controlled exhaust gas interaction. The system is engineered for closed-course track use while maintaining driving comfort by eliminating drone and unwanted flow noise.

Testing on the Akrapovic dynamometer against a Porsche 911 Turbo (992) equipped with the factory Porsche sports exhaust system recorded gains of +16.6 kW (22.5 hp) and +46.8 Nm at 3400 rpm. The torque curve provides strong responsiveness from low engine speeds.
