Constructed from lightweight titanium, the Exhaust system provides a weight saving of 34.2% over the AMG Performance exhaust system. The fully sandblasted exterior is completed with a new tailpipe design made from hand-crafted carbon fibre with a titanium inner sleeve.

Power gains of 6.3 kW (8.6 Horsepower / HP) and Torque increases of 21.3 Nm, both at 2,800 rpm, were achieved when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupé with an AMG Performance exhaust system.

Three Exhaust Valves are operated by a specially developed control kit: one on either side of the Muffler and one in the active X-connection in the link pipe. The valve housings, X-connection, and central pillar of the tailpipes are cast in-house. The system produces a deep tone, a full-bodied sound at idle, a strong burble as revs rise, and a high-frequency sound at higher rpm.

Note: No remapping is needed on installation. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is available to provide full control over the spectrum of sound emitted from the exhaust.

Warning: The ECE type approval certificate for the Evolution Line (Titanium) is not valid if the Akrapovič Sound Kit is installed.

The correct mandatory Control Kit must be ordered depending on whether the vehicle was produced before or after the facelift.
