The TAROX G88 is the most distinctive brake disc in the TAROX range and a defining example of the brand’s engineering identity. Its unmistakable appearance is the result of custom-built machinery designed and manufactured by TAROX, allowing the grooves to feature a design that is exclusive to the G88 and unlike any other performance brake disc.
The edge-to-edge groove layout is engineered to maximize heat dissipation across the entire disc surface, enabling significantly improved thermal control under demanding conditions. A chamfered leading edge is integrated into the groove design to prevent accelerated brake pad wear, ensuring durability without compromising performance. Extensive testing has shown the G88 to operate at lower temperatures than comparable performance discs, making it a long-standing favorite for street tuning since its introduction in 1988.
Like all TAROX performance brake discs, the G88 is manufactured using high-quality European high-carbon castings that are TÜV approved. Each disc undergoes proprietary TAROX finishing processes, including heat treatment for enhanced strength and durability, hand-finished balancing to ensure a perfectly flat surface for optimal bedding-in, and a final anti-corrosion treatment to protect against rust.
