The Akrapovic Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) was developed and tested together with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system. The system was engineered using the BMW M2 Competition (F87N) equipped with OPF/GPF, but it is compatible with both OPF and non-OPF versions.

The Evolution Link Pipe Set upgrades the Slip-On system to the Evolution configuration. This setup combines the Slip-On rear muffler with larger Evolution link pipe tubes and a middle muffler, all manufactured entirely from titanium. The system is designed to provide optimized exhaust gas flow and enhanced performance characteristics.

When combined with the Slip-On Line, the Evolution Link Pipe Set provides measurable increases in power and torque. Acoustic development delivers a distinctive sound profile with a deeper and sportier tone compared to the stock system, eliminating unwanted overtones and drone while producing an almost race-inspired sound. The sound character also changes significantly depending on whether the exhaust valves are open or closed.

The system includes a control kit to balance sportiness and comfort, together with a receiver and Sound Remote controller (or smartphone application) for valve control.

When installed in combination with BMW M2 CS Slip-On (S-BM/T/26H), the Slip-On Control Kit module P-HF1386 must be installed together with the Link Pipe Set receiver and key fob.
