Engineering Excellence Behind PFC Brakes

Performance Friction Brakes (PFC) is an American product that appeared on the market in the early 1980s. During its development, the company became famous in the world of sports brakes and earned the trust of many racing teams. Behind them are numerous championships, demonstrative results on race tracks, and many good reviews from users in the city.

Performance Friction Brakes' first victory was in 1984 in NASCAR races. At that time, the company was only at the beginning of its journey and produced only high-temperature pads. Its Carbon Metallic technology has proven itself well—a unique composition of friction linings based on carbon allows it to withstand increased temperature loads without losing friction properties. Such pads work effectively in harsh sports conditions with frequent intensive braking and last longer than others.

The next stage of development was the production of its disks. In 1999, the design of PFC Brake Rotors was officially patented - a composite cast iron or carbon-ceramic design with internal ventilation and gas venting notches on the working surfaces.

In 2002, the first calipers appeared—multi-piston forged aluminum monoblock design, providing rigid pad-disk contact and, thus, effective deceleration from high speeds.
